Who We Are:

David Hamilton Eagle Aerie, Inc CEO and Co-Founder 

David “DH” Hamilton has spent 40 years participating and leading ground and flight test; Air Defense, defense and intelligence community Red Teaming, and leading the development and production of some of the nations most complex and classified programs. As a member of the Senior Executive Service he was the Director of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities office that reported to the Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Air Force for day to day tasking.

During his government career he was a test engineer of rocket propulsion systems, he designed models to represent the aerodynamic-reaction control system interactions for the Space Shuttle on reentry, he flew as flight test engineer and test electronic warfare office for the flight tests of the B-1B, was a flight test engineer on Tacit Blue, the F-117, B-2 and a variety of other low observable aircraft systems. He also provided oversight of the development of post 9/11 air defense systems deployed in the National Capitol Region and the development of the X-37 Orbital Test Vehicle. Dave received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Saint Louis University, an Masters of Business Administration from National University, he is a graduate the US Air Force Test Pilot School and a Distinguished Graduate of Air Force Electronic Warfare Officer Training.

Dave has led and experienced a broad range of development and fielding activities from a government position as a program manager and Program Executive Officer.

 

Alan Wiechman Eagle Aerie, Inc Co-Founder

Alan has spent over 40 years leading industrial development of a variety of aerospace systems. Early in his career he contributed to Have Blue, Sea Shadow and the F-117 at the Lockheed Martin Skunk Works. Later, as Boeing Vice President for Advanced Combat Systems and later Vice President for Special Technology Integration he contributed to the F-15, F-18E/F, F-23, and Boeing Bird of Prey. Alan also contributed to technology developments to the X-45, X-36, and other highly classified activities. His efforts included low signature designs, the development of technologies necessary for realization of those designs and the development new manufacturing tools necessary to achieve low cost highly complex components for low observable integration.

Alan has received recognition for his achievements in the defense industry from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and National Defense Industrial Association for combat survivability technical achievement. He also received the Pioneers of Stealth award from a prestigious honor bestowed by industry and government founder if Stealth technology.

Alan received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University.

Alan has led and experienced a broad range of development and fielding activities from a industrial position as a program manager and corporate vice president.
